Polling Free Fall from blacks lowers Bush's approval rating.

In what may turn out to be one of the biggest free-falls in the history of presidential polling, President Bush's job-approval rating among African Americans has dropped to 2 percent, according to a new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll.

The drop among blacks drove Bush's overall job approval ratings to an all-time low of 39 percent in this poll. By comparison, 45 percent of whites and 36 percent of Hispanics approve of the job Bush is doing.

LOL! I'm worried about 45 percent of whites.

No not really. They know what they are doing. The Republican party offers bigots, and greedy people lots of opportunity to advance their cause.

With faith based charity convincing Black ministers to turn their churches into platforms for espousing conservatism and Republicans trying to work up black bigotry towards gays the GOP thought they were going to really make inroads with their usual lies about how everyone is going to be rich so it's okay if we treat the poor badly.

Katrina blew that all away. The Bush administration's lousy response to the Katina and floods disaster, and the later revelations that the Bush administration spent the money that should have gone to fix the New Orleans levees for his oil war turned a illuminated the true feelings of the Bush cabal.

And it still goes on as evacuees face one hardship, and displacement after another. Now matter how many photo ops the Boy King makes, minorities still know. When the best of the relief goes to 'others' they still know.

Right now the wheels are greased for illegal aliens to take the cleanup and recovery jobs. Buses are actually sent around the nation to pick the illegals up, and the labor department has suspended rules calling for compliance with proving employees are legal workers. No problemo.

(So why don't refugees take the buses? Well, of course on the N.O. side refugees find the usual lack of work standards. They live in moldy motels, often sleeping on the floor, parking lots have been cited too as places they sleep. They are not given the necessary safety equipment and many are falling ill.)

Yes, even now American workers would demand basic health and safety equipment. That is too much for the sleezeballs running the New Orleans cleanup projects apparently. Now how do you like the GOP plan for little oversite on businesses, America?

The Southern Strategy in which Republicans protect and offer comfort to bigots, got a searchlight beamed on it by Katrina. That's why Bush's poll numbers from blacks plummetted.

What people saw then and see now won't be removed from their memory by speeches, photo ops, and faux concern.
