Bush puts on his Sunday best.

Bush Attends Beijing Church, Promoting Religious Freedom

Ho Hum another symbolic bit of BS from Bush.

What was it that Jefferson said?

Oh yeah, There is no freedom of religion without freedom from religion.

Also:
Man once surrendering his reason, has no remaining guard against absurdities the most monstrous, and like a ship without rudder, is the sport of every wind.

-Thomas Jefferson to James Smith, 1822

Also:

"It does me no injury," said Thomas Jefferson, "for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods, or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg."

But when the President is behind a push to make American tax payers finance Bible teaching through faith based 'charity' schools, and even by forcing public schools to teach the watered down creationism by putting the right wing US Christian fundamentalist's version of "intelligent design" into the curiculum, why then, dear tax payer it does pick your pocket.

Please keep in mind that there are at least 1000 versions of "intelligent design" creationism in the world. That the President said he wanted "both" sides, therefore only one version of 'intelligent design' taught, and you see what is happening? It is not about 'both sides', but about 'my religion' or ...er... 'the religion of my base because I don't go to church unless the press is going to be there to take my picture'. (It is well known that Bush seldom attends church. His excuse in 2001 was that he would endanger the people in the building.)
