Bush's favorability rating still beats Alito's numbers.

So a CBS poll has Bush at a35% approval rating. That's still better than Alito's favoribility number which, according to an AP-Ipsos poll at , is 20%.

And it's better than Cheney's results. CBS found that the Vice President's
favorable rating is down nine points this year to just 19 percent

Here's an interesting chart on Bush 43's, Nixon's, and Clinton' approval ratings. Looks like Bush is heading for the Nixon depths of public disapproval.

Cheney's already there. Come to think of it, he looks somewhat like Spiro Agnew too. When he first chose himself in 2000 for the VP nominee, I thought he looked Nixonian. Now if I could just pick stocks (or even horses) that well.
